Easter Weekend 2026
Easter Weekend Recap: Three Services, One Powerful Message
What an Easter weekend! Over three services — Friday, Saturday, and Resurrection Sunday — God's Word came alive, renewed our hearts, and filled our minds with gladness.
Friday Night: Fit for the Kingdom
Friday's message centered on Luke 9:57–62, where Jesus tells would-be followers that no one who puts their hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God. The challenge was clear: salvation is the beginning, not the end. From the moment we give our lives to Jesus, we're called to press forward, growing in faith, pursuing the miraculous, and boldly advancing God's kingdom.
We were reminded that God is a rewarder (Hebrews 11:6) and that anything we give up for the gospel's sake comes back multiplied, a hundred times over, in this life and the next (Luke 18:28–30). The cost of following Jesus is real, but the reward is so much greater.
Saturday Evening: 4 Jesus Took And What He Gave in Return
Saturday went deep into the new covenant, unpacking four exchanges that took place at the cross:
Jesus became sin so we could become righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21). We're not sinners trying to do better, we've been made righteous by His blood.
Jesus bore our sickness so we could be healed (Isaiah 53:4-5). Walking through the healing miracles in Matthew 8-9, we saw that health is part of our covenant with God. He wants us strong and full of life at every age.
Jesus took the curse so we could have the blessing (Galatians 3:13). No area of our lives is cursed, every part is blessed.
Jesus became poor so we could become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). When you follow Jesus, you never end up worse off. You end up abundantly blessed.
The evening closed with a powerful time of prayer and declaration over every person present, for healing, breakthrough, and overflow in every area of life.
Resurrection Sunday: Overwhelming Vicory is Our
Sunday morning, we celebrated the greatest display of God’s power the earth has ever seen: Jesus rose from the grave! The resurrection is the proof that God loves you, the enemy has been utterly destroyed and shamed, and every covenant promise we declared on Friday and Saturday is backed by a Jesus who lives forever and ever!
Romans 8:32-37 declares that nothing can ever succeed against us, because God is for us! Christians are to be the most blessed, victorious, healthy, happy, and prosperous people on the face of the planet! All of Heaven backs us! We are part-takers in the victory that Jesus won! Because He lives, we live. The best is not behind us. The best is before us!
If any of this stirred something in your heart, we encourage you to watch the live services and let God's Word do a mighty work on the inside of you. We love you and we'll want to see you on Sunday!
