What an Incredible Christmas Toy Giveaway! 🎄✨
This past Sunday, Dabwetamun Church was thrilled to host our Christmas Toy Giveaway, and we are still in awe of how God moved during the event! The turnout was absolutely amazing, with over 100 people joining us to celebrate the joy of giving and the love of Christ.
One of the biggest highlights was seeing over 30 people make the life-changing decision to give their hearts to Jesus. 🙌❤️ That alone made the day unforgettable! We are so excited to walk alongside them in their journey of faith and see what God will do in their lives.
In addition to the spiritual blessings, we were also able to bless 27 families with Christmas gifts, ensuring that no tree is without a little joy this season. Altogether, we gave away over 80 toys and gifts, including a wide variety of items like Nerf sets, Lego, dolls, toy cars, hockey gear, winter sports items, and more. Seeing the smiles on the faces of parents and kids alike was priceless!
We also had a special door prize—a sled filled with beautifully wrapped gifts, a bag of board games for fun family winter nights, an awesome indoor/outdoor baby slide and a bag of kids crafts. The excitement and gratitude from the winning family reminded us why we do what we do: to be a blessing and reflect God’s love in every way we can.
A Heartfelt Thank You
This event would not have been possible without the incredible support and hard work of so many people. To everyone who donated toys and/or finances, volunteered their time, prayed for the event, or helped spread the word—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity and love made all the difference, and together, we were able to bless our community in a big way.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on this amazing event, we are reminded of how powerful it is when we come together as a church and community. Lives were changed, hearts were touched, and God’s love was made known. We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to serve and make a difference.
